SWEET & SOUR MEATBALLS 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1/3 c. milk
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 green pepper, seeded & sliced
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. vinegar
1 med. onion, chopped (1/2 c.)
1/3 c. pkgd. bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. sugar
1 can (1 lb. 4 oz.) pineapple chunks & juice

Combine meat, onion, egg, bread crumbs, milk, salt, pepper and 1 tablespoon soy sauce in a large bowl, mix well. Shape 24 meatballs. Put in 11 x 7 inch baking dish, cover with foil, cook in oven for 30 minutes. Remove and drain drippings. Sprinkle with green pepper. Combine sugar, cornstarch, remaining soy sauce, pineapple and juice and vinegar.

In glass cooking dish, stir well and place in oven until sauce is thick. Pour over meatballs, return to oven until heated through. Delicious served with rice.
