SPANISH RICE SKILLET 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
1 c. long grain rice
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 slices bacon
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
2 c. water
Chili powder to taste

In skillet, cook ground beef, bacon, onion and green pepper until meat is browned and vegetables are tender. Drain off fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes, water, uncooked rice, chili powder, Worcestershire, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
