Has anyone been able to find the Anginetti cookies? I haven't seen them on store shelves in 15 years at least. I heard when company was taken over, they decided not to continue that line of cookies. If anyone knows where to find them please advise.

You can't! They no longer make them. You have to make your own.

Use little sponge cakes that sells for strawberry shortcake tartlets. I add some coconut in the recipe. So good. Use ice cream scoop to plop in each tart.

This is a wonderful filling but sadly the cookies cannot be found. However it is great piled in the little sponge cakes sold for strawberry shortcake. You can add coconut, sprinkle with chopped nuts and top with a maraschino cherry and be the rave at any gathering.

Love this recipe, cannot get Anginetti cookies anywhere, so disappointed. This was going to be for the holidays, family also disappointed as this was a tradition started when they were small. Please bring back the cookies.

Having a "Cookie Bar" for a co-worker's retirement party. I signed up to make Anginetti Cream Puffs. Everyone always raves about these, so I was excited to treat my co-workers to some. I wanted a no-bake cookie, since temps are close to 90* today, and I have no a/c. Bought all ingredients for filling on my lunch hour, then went to 3 grocery stores in my town before calling every store in a 20 mile radius looking for the Anginetti's. AAAAAACCCCKKKK!!!!!!! No luck- and now I know why! Settling for a no-bake toffee bar, but it just won't be the same :( Everyone was always impressed with my baking skills when I presented the Anginetti's ;)

Just called the 800 number below and they confirmed that Lance bought out Stella Doro and have discontinued making the Anginetti cookie. They also confirmed that they will not be making in the future. WHAT A SHAME!

I was told Stella Doro delivers the cookies after Thanksgiving to the stores. At least that's what the Stop & Shop grocer told me.

Why is it when you find something that is so good and you buy it for years they quit making it ( TAX WRITE OFF ) or what ????? The Anginetti cookies used with the recipe was so good and now my niece is going to have a baby shower and I wanted to make these for it and now I'm soooo upset because everyone loved them and now I have to find something else to make and to compare to this. It really sucks!!!

I too found out that Anginetti's were no longer being made and was quite frustrated. However after complaining about it on Facebook, a friend of mine said she now uses store-bought sugar cookie dough, sliced thin and molded into mini cupcake pans. Baking them as directed, they make a suitable substitute for those of us who cannot simply abandon the pineapple/cream cheese recipe. In addition, you can make your own puff pastry, however the one listed here is actually for anise cookies not puffs. For those of you who like the ease of the anginetti's, the sugar cookie dough is the way to go.
