BEETS ROYALE 
1 (No. 2) can pineapple chunks
1 (No. 2) can sm. beets
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. vinegar
3/4 tsp. salt

Blend cornstarch with 1/2 cup pineapple juice; add beet juice and cook until thick. Add the vinegar, salt, pineapple chunks and beets; heat thoroughly. Mandarin oranges may be added instead of the pineapple. Serves 6.
