MUG CHOCOLATE CAKE 
I do realize this recipe is a complete cheat as I am using a box mix. However, I have tried other versions that did not use a box and I found them to be too heavy for my liking.

1 box SuperMoist Devil's Food cake mix (Betty Crocker)
non-stick cooking spray (Pam)
coffee mug

TOPPING:

ice cream
prepared frosting, etc.

Prepare cake mix as stated on the back of the box in an airtight container. Store unused portion in refrigerator between servings.

Spray coffee mug with non-stick cooking spray (very important). Fill mug with prepared cake mix to slightly less than half full (otherwise it will emerge out of the mug during cooking).

Microwave for 60 to 90 seconds or until a toothpick entered into the center comes out clean (I do 90 seconds).

If using frosting, wait 7 minutes before application. Otherwise, it's good to go right out of the microwave.

Variation: Pour only a bit of mix into the mug. Drop 5 to 6 chocolate chips in. Pour more batter until slightly less than half full. Microwave as above.
