MAMA'S OLD FASHIONED TEA CAKES 
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 1 tbsp. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 qt. plain flour

Mix as if making biscuits. Roll out to desired thickness. Cut and bake 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees.
