QUICK TOMATO SOUP 
1 (#2) can peeled tomatoes
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 c. milk
2 tbsp. cornstarch
Salt, pepper, Lawry's salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped

Put tomatoes into blender. Blend 4 seconds on high (just to cut up tomatoes). Cook onion and green pepper and celery in a small amount of water in microwave until soft.

Shake milk and cornstarch together in a covered jar. Heat just to boiling. Add soda to tomatoes and stir. Add to milk. Then add onion, celery, and green pepper. Heat slowly to serving temperature.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
