GERMAN CHOCOLATE UPSIDE DOWN
CAKE
 
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 lb. confectioners' sugar
1 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese

Mix coconut and nuts and put in the bottom of a greased and floured large 10 1/2" x 14 1/2" x 2" pan. Prepare cake mix as directed and pour over nuts. Warm butter and cream cheese and stir in powdered sugar. Spoon over top of cake mix.

Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool in pan 10 minutes; place serving platter over pan and invert so that cake is upside down on platter. Do not cut until cold. Makes 12 to 15 servings.
