CHERRY ALMOND TORTE 
1 angel food cake mix
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 c. marshmallow creme
1 can cherry pie filling
1/4 c. toasted sliced almonds

Bake cake according to directions adding almond extract with the water. Cool and remove from pan. Split cake into 2 layers. Place bottom layer on plate and spoon 2/3 of marshmallow creme by spoonful onto bottom layer. Spoon 1 cup cherry pie filling on marshmallow. Sprinkle with 1/2 the nuts. Place other layer on top. Spoon remaining marshmallow, cherries and nuts, allowing cherries to drizzle down sides.

NOTE: Wait until just before serving to put cherries and marshmallow on top as it really runs.
