FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 (#303) can fruit cocktail and juice
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pecans and/or coconut
1/2 c. brown sugar

Mix sugar, salt, flour, soda, eggs, vanilla and fruit cocktail with juice together. Pour into greased loaf pan. Sprinkle brown sugar, nuts and coconut on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. This is a real moist cake.

TOPPING:

1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. canned milk

Combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and pour over cake while hot.
