RAISIN FILLED COOKIES 
2 c. raisins
2 c. brown sugar
6 tbsp. flour
2 c. water

Cookie:

1 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
4 c. flour

Cook raisins, brown sugar, flour and water until thick. Roll dough; cut cookies. Lay on cookie sheet. Add spoonful of raisins. Place another cookie on top; pinch together. Put 2 knife slits on top.

Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes until golden brown.
