GIANT GINGER SNAPS | |
2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. ginger 1/2 c. light molasses 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 1 egg Stir together flour, soda, salt and ginger. In a medium saucepan, heat molasses and sugar; stir constantly until sugar is dissolved. Cool. Add egg and beat well. Stir in dry ingredients until blended. Chill dough 3 hours. Roll to 1/4 inch and cut with a 3 inch round cutter. Grease cookie sheet, place 3 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. |
