FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE 
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. light brown sugar
2 c. plain flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 lg. can fruit cocktail

FILLING:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 can milk
1 stick butter
1 sm. can Angel Flake Coconut
1 c. broken pecans (opt.)

Mix ingredients for cake with juice from fruit. Then stir in fruit. Bake in flat pan (9"x13") for 50 minutes. Do not open door on oven while baking or cake will fall. Bake at 300 degrees.

FILLING: Combine ingredients for filling. Cook for 1 minute and spoon over cake.
