SESAME COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
Sesame seeds
Your choice of jam or preserves

Cream butter and sugar; blend in almond extract and salt. Add flour. Mix well. Shape teaspoons of dough into balls and roll in sesame seeds. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten each ball slightly indent center of each ball and fill with jam or preserves. Makes 3 dozen. Bake at 325 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
