BAKED YELLOW SQUASH 
6 med. yellow squash
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 c. chopped ham
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/2 c. grated cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Cut squash in pieces and cook in a small amount of water until tender. Drain and mash. Add all other ingredients, mixing thoroughly. Bake in a casserole for 30 minutes at 400 degrees. Cheese may be added to mixture, sprinkle on top, or both.
