BEEF MUSHROOM CASSEROLE 
2 lb. lean beef stew meat OR
Round steak cut in 1" cubes

Mix: 1 pkg. dry onion soup 1/2 c. red wine (like Burgundy) 1/2-3/4 lb. fresh mushrooms or 2 cans sliced mushrooms

Place meat in casserole. Pour soup, wine mixture over meat and mix. Cover and bake at 300-350 degrees about 2 hours. Stir in mushrooms and bake 1/2 to 1 hour longer or until meat is tender. Serves 4-6.
