ROMANIAN BRAISED CABBAGE | |
1 med. onion, chopped 3 tbsp. butter or vegetable oil 1 med. head cabbage, shredded Salt & pepper to taste 2 tbsp. vinegar 1/4 c. sour cream, room temp. Saute onion in butter in large saucepan. Add shredded cabbage. Saute 2 or 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Add a bit of water and simmer tightly covered about 15 minutes or until tender. Mix in vinegar and sour cream. 6 servings. |
