HAZEL NUT CAKE 
12 eggs
1 lb. grated Hazel nuts
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. soda cracker crumbs

Separate eggs. Beat yolks with sugar until thick. Mix crumbs with grated nuts; fold in egg yolk mixture. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and vanilla. Bake in two (9 inch) pans at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. Frost with a custard frosting or serve with whipped cream.
