HAZEL'S APPLE CRISP 
6 c. apples, sliced
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1 c. quick oatmeal
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter

Peel and slice apples, place in buttered pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice, cinnamon and sugar. Combine flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, soda, salt and baking powder. Mix in melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture over apples. Bake in 9 x 13 inch pan at 325 degrees for 35 minutes until apples are done. Makes 12 servings.
