EASY CHINESE CABBAGE SALAD 
1 (16 oz.) pkg. shredded cabbage with carrots (coleslaw mix)
1 bunch green onions, chopped
4 tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter
1/2 cup slivered almonds
3 tbsp. sesame seeds
1 pkg. ramen noodles with flavor packet

DRESSING:

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup olive oil (I use EVOO)
1/4 cup white vinegar
1 tsp. soy sauce
dash of garlic powder

Mix package of cabbage and chopped onion together. Set aside.

Sauté butter, slivered almonds, sesame seeds and package of ramen noodles with flavor packet until golden brown. Then let cool.

For dressing, in blender mix sugar, oil, vinegar, soy sauce and garlic powder.

Combine all ingredients and add dressing right before serving.

Variation: You can also add 1 (8 oz.) can mandarin oranges and 1 cup cut up chicken.

Made per the instructions, didn't have almonds. I really liked it. Used rice vinegar.
