HOT ONION STEAK RELISH | |
This beats the pants off of any ketchup or bottled steak sauce known to man! 1 medium onion, chopped 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar 1/2 cup white wine 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard 1/2 tsp. sea salt Make this to go over pan broiled steaks. Before broiling the steaks, mix all ingredients and have ready in a bowl. Once steaks are removed from pan to serving platter, dump this into the still-hot pan and boil it down, stirring frequently, over medium-high heat until it begins to thicken, about 5 minutes. Scoop this over the steaks. Note: This will make enough to cover three small steaks or one big steak. Quantities can be scaled up as needed. Submitted by: Redneck |
