SAUSAGE CASSEROLE 
6 slices bread, crumbled
2 lb. sausage
2 tsp. mustard
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
6 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c. milk
1 c. light cream
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
dash of nutmeg
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Cover bottom of buttered 9 x 13-inch casserole dish with crumbled bread. Cook sausage in skillet until done. Drain off fat and blot sausage between paper towels. Mix sausage with mustard. Sprinkle sausage evenly over bread; sprinkle cheese over sausage. (If casserole will not be cooked same day, stop here and freeze sausage and bread mixture.) To cook, thaw; combine remaining ingredients and pour over casserole.

Bake in 350°F oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until set in middle.
