SHARON'S WHEAT GERM MUFFINS 
1 egg, well beaten
1/3 c. honey
1 1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. oil
1 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. wheat germ

Beat together egg, honey, milk and oil. Mix in flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Stir in wheat germ lightly. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees. For variety add nuts, raisins, dates, etc. Yield: 1 dozen.
