FOOL PROOF PIE CRUST | |
4 c. flour 1 3/4 c. shortening 1 tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. vinegar 1 egg 1/2 c. water Mix first 4 ingredients until fine and crumbly. Beat the egg, vinegar, and water until well blended, then add to flour mixture. Blend well and form into a ball. Place into a covered bowl and chill for 1 hour. Makes 5 (9 inch) pie crusts. |
