VEGETABLE SOUP 
3/4 c. raw ground beef
2 c. tomatoes
2 c. potatoes, diced
2 med. carrots, diced
1/2 c. celery, diced
1 med. onion
2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. raw rice
1/4 c. barley
1/4 c. alphabet noodles
2 qts. water

Combine all ingredients raw. Cook until vegetables are tender.

NOTE: I always brown and rinse the meat to get rid of some fat. Can also add some frozen peas.
