FLOUR TORTILLAS 
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. shortening
water

Heat approximately 1 cup water. Mix flour, baking powder, salt and shortening. Add water gradually until you have a firm mixture. Let stand for 10 minutes. Make a small ball (golf size) and roll out with rolling pin using flour to prevent sticking. Cook on low-medium heat in open skillet, turning 3 times. Serve hot.
