OREO DESSERT 
1 (14 oz.) pkg. Oreo cookies
1 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 lg. instant chocolate pudding
1 lg. Cool Whip

Chop cookies. Reserve 1/2 cup. Mix remaining with melted butter. Place in 9 x 13 inch glass dish. Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar. Fold in half of Cool Whip. Pour over cookie layer.

Mix pudding with 2 1/4 cups milk. Pour over cream cheese layer. Put remaining Cool Whip over pudding layer. Top with sprinkled reserved cookies.
