MAMA DOT'S POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 1/3 c. cake flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. sweet milk
2 tsp. each vanilla & lemon extract

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating in well. Alternate the flour and milk; mix well. Add seasoning. Bake in 10 inch tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
