1 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. softened butter
1 egg
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. milk
Approximately 1/4 stick butter to dot top
More brown sugar and cinnamon to top

Beat the butter and sugar; add the egg and cinnamon. Beat well. Add the flour and milk alternately. Mix well. Add baking powder last. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured 7 1/2 x 12 inch baking dish. Chop up bits of butter and dot top generously with this. Sprinkle generously with brown sugar and cinnamon. Bake in 375 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until turning golden brown. Can double this recipe and put in 11x16 inch sheet cake pan.
