1 c. sifted confectioner's sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. milk or 1 1/2 tbsp. cream

Combine first 3 ingredients. Add liquid to make easy to spread. Spread on lebkuchen with spatula or pastry brush. Sprinkle with candies or colored sugar.
