PRESIDENT R.'S FAVORITE MACARONI
AND CHEESE
 
8 oz. macaroni
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. hot water
3 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Boil macaroni in water until tender. Drain thoroughly. Stir in butter and egg. Mix mustard, salt and water together and add to milk. Add cheese to macaroni, leaving enough to sprinkle on top. Pour into buttered casserole, add milk mixture and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until set and top is crusty.
