RONALD R.'S FAVORITE MACARONI
AND CHEESE
 
1/2 lb. macaroni
2 tbsp. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
3 c. sharp grated cheese
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. hot water

Boil macaroni until tender. Drain thoroughly. Stir in butter. Beat the egg. Mix egg and milk together. Mix salt, mustard and 1 tablespoon HOT water together. Add this to the milk and egg mixture. Add to macaroni. Stir in cheese leaving enough to sprinkle on top. Pour into buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until custard is set and top is crusty.
