PICKLED VEGETABLE SALAD 
1 can French style green beans
2 cans LeSeur peas
1 c. chow mein vegetables
1 can chopped water chestnuts
1 sm. jar chopped pimento
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
1 sm. chopped onion
2 chopped carrots
3/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar

Drain canned vegetables and mix with fresh. Mix sugar and vinegar. Pour over vegetables. Marinate for 3 days in tightly covered container. Keeps in refrigerator indefinitely. Serves 12.
