DUTCH COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. baking soda
4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 c. flour
1 c. chopped almonds

Cream butter and shortening with sugars. Add sour cream. Mix dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture. Mix in almonds. Form walnut sized balls; place on greased cookie sheet. press with back of fork to make criss cross. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.
