FRUIT CAKE COOKIES 
1 c. light brown sugar
1 c. butter
3 eggs
1/2 c. milk
2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 lb. candied cherries (chopped)
1 lb. candied pineapple (chopped)
1 (8 oz.) box pitted dates (chopped)
7 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs. Sift dry ingredients together and add to butter mixture alternately with milk. Add nuts and fruits. Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 9 dozen.
