HOMEMADE ROLLS 
2 c. warm water
1 pkg. yeast
1 c sugar
Dash of salt
1 tbsp. oil or shortening
5-6 c. flour

Combine ingredients. Let rise several hours and punch down. Form rolls into golf-ball size balls and place in well greased baking pans. Let rise until double in size. Bake at 350 degrees until brown. Butter tops of the rolls with stick butter while still hot.
