1 pt. very warm water (not boiling) 1 pkg. dry yeast 2 lg. tbsp. Crisco 1/2 c. sugar 1 egg 6 c. flour Dash salt Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add Crisco, egg, salt and sugar; mix well. Gradually add flour. Knead until blended. Cover - let double in size, punch down, let rise, punch down. Pinch off rolls, let rise. Bake at 375 degrees until golden brown. Delicious! Momma's recipe. |
