4 tbsp. olive oil 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 tbsp. dried basil 2 tsp. oregano 2 cans chopped clams, drained 1/2 c. white wine 1 lg. can tomatoes, cut up with the juices Heat oil with garlic and seasonings until garlic is browned. Add clams, cook 15 minutes. Add white wine and tomatoes and simmer for 30 minutes. Add more white wine (after most of the simmering is done) for flavor. Serve over prepared linguine. |
