CHEROKEE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
3/4 c. onion
2 c. tomato juice
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. minute rice
6 stuffed olives, sliced
3 slices American cheese
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. oregano

I use an electric skillet. Brown meat. Add onions and cook until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients, except cheese. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 5-10 minutes. Top with cheese slices.
