SMOTHERED STEAK 
1/4 c. flour
Dash pepper
1 1/2 lb. tenderized round steak
2 tbsp. shortening
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 c. water

Combine flour and pepper. Brown steak on both sides in shortening in large skillet. Add soup and water. Cover and simmer for 1 hour until steak is tender. Stir occasionally. Serves 4 to 6.
