HAM - SQUASH - ONION CASSEROLE 
6 med. yellow squash
1/2-1 c. cubed ham
6-8 sm. onions, cooked & drained
4 eggs, hard cooked & sliced
2 c. med. white sauce
1/2 c. shredded American cheese
1/3 c. canned mushrooms, drained
1/2 c. bread crumbs

Cook sliced squash in boiling water 8-10 minutes or until just tender. Drain, but do not mash. Place in bottom of greased, deep casserole dish or deep pie pan. Place ham cubes over squash, then drained onions on squash and ham. Top with egg slices.

Mix cheese and mushrooms with hot white sauce and stir until cheese is melted. Pour sauce over contents of casserole. Sprinkle bread crumbs over sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
