SMOTHERED STEAK 
1 1/2-2 lb. round steak, cut into 3" pieces
2 cans (10 oz.) mushroom soup
1 lg. onion, sliced into rings
Flour
Salt
Pepper

Dredge meat in flour. Sear both sides in electric skillet. Place 1/2 of meat in 1-2 quart casserole. Pour 1 can of soup over meat. Place 1/2 of the onion rings over soup. Repeat with remaining meat, soup and onions. Bake in 300-325 degree oven for 1 1/2-2 hours until meat is very tender and soup has made a gravy.
