BEEF MACARONI CHILI SKILLET | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 c. uncooked macaroni 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder 1 tsp. sugar 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 1/2 c. hot water 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 1/4 c. water 1/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1/4 c. shredded mozzarella cheese Brown ground beef in large frying pan, drain. Add macaroni, onion, salt, chili powder, sugar and pepper. Stir in 2 1/2 cups hot water, cover and cook 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Combine tomato paste and 1/4 cup water, add to meat mixture and continue cooking for 5 minutes. Layer in casserole dish with cheese. |
