CHERRY AND PEACH DUMPLINGS 
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. cloves
1 cup cherry pie filling
1 (15 oz.) can peaches (sliced), drained
1 egg, beaten, plus enough milk to make 1/2 cup
1 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix

Mix the first 6 ingredients into a 10-inch pan. Heat and add peaches; bring to a boil.

Mix egg and milk mix to Bisquick. Stir into a soft dough. Drop by teaspoons on top of boiling fruit. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Stir softly. Cover and cook 10 more minutes.

Serve warm with or without whipped topping.

Serves 8.
