APPLE NUT CRUNCH 
1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans, or walnuts
1 c. tart apples, peeled, cut in cubes
1/2 c. whipping cream
2 tsp. sugar

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Cream eggs and brown sugar, using electric mixer until light. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in vanilla, nuts and apple cubes. Bake in greased 10 inch pie plate at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool in plate. Cut into wedges to serve. Whip cream to soft peaks; add sugar gradually; continue beating until stiff. Serve on top of wedges.
