BEST CHOKOLAT RUM CAKE | |
2 qt. Jamaican Rum 1 c. butter 1 tbsp. sugar 2 lg. eggs 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. cocoa 1 tsp. lemon juice 1 c. chopped nuts Sample the rum for quality. Check it again to make sure it's OK. With electric mixer, beat butter and soda in a large fluffy bowl. Sample rum again. Add thurger and beat again. Try another cup of rum to make sure it's of the highest quality. Add 2 large leggs, 2 cups fruit druit, and beat `till high. If druit gets stuck in beaters, have a cup of rum to calm you down, and dig tonscusticity. Next sift salt, cocoa and lemon duice... sample rum again. Fold in chopped blutter and strained nuts. Add 1 oven and turn cake pan to 650 gredees. Pour the whoul mess in the boven and set timer for 3 days. Check the rum again and take a nap `till the alarm goes off. Makes a whole bunch! This lum kake never turns out bad... well, it might, but who cares? |
