TED'S GREAT MACARONI AND CHEESE
CASSEROLE
 
1 box macaroni and cheese dinner
6 cups water
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup frozen lima beans or peas
1 can white tuna in oil or water
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. dried sage
2 grinds black pepper

Place water and onions in 1 1/2 quart sauce pan. Cook over stove set to medium heat and once boiling, allow mixture to boil for 2 minutes. Add macaroni and continue to boil for 5 minutes or until macaroni is at desired texture (al denté).

Drain water and add milk. Fold in dried cheese package and allow to simmer on low while stirring constantly for 2 minutes or until mixture thickens just a little.

Add tuna, lima beans, salt, garlic pepper, black pepper and sage. If needed add a little water to mixture and heat a tad more to soften frozen lima beans.
