I thought the batter seemed a little dry so I added an extra egg yolk and 1&1/2 tbsp. butter, plus 1 tbsp. water, a pinch of salt and 1 tsp. vanilla to red velvet mix. I also put a dash of salt & 1/2 tsp. vanilla to the cream cheese mixture. These brownies are already gone! Great recipe with endless variations!

These are wonderful....I think I may have over cooked them slightly...The top is still very gooey and the bottom was a little dry..However I used a red velvet cake mix..Does anyone have any suggestions to make the brownie a little more moist..Maybe add a tbs of oil??

I think these are very good and easy. I made these for my at home baking business but I added unsweetened cocoa to the top layer to make it a brown color, with walnuts through the entire dessert. My customer fell in love with them immediately. They are made like chess squares. Thanks whoever for the chocolate idea. YUMMY

My husband @ I both loved this recipe. I added coconut on the top and cooked it for 30 minutes. Next time I will add pecans too. Just make sure they are completely cool before cutting them.
