“CHOCOLATE-NUT BROWNIES” IS IN:

CHOCOLATE-NUT BROWNIES 
1 package devil's food cake mix
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 packed brown sugar
3/4 cup finely chopped nuts
1 container chocolate or fudge frosting
1/4 cup water

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Grease and flour a 13x9x2-inch baking pan. In a large bowl, combine half of the cake mix (dry), butter, brown sugar, water and eggs; beat until smooth.

Add the remaining cake mix and 1/4 cup nuts. Spread evenly in pan.

Bake until top feels firm when touched, 25 to 30 minutes (do not overbake). Run knife around edges while warm to loosen sides from pan.

Remove from oven and let cool for 15 minutes, then spread with frosting. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup nuts.

Cut into serving side bars (about 3 X 1 1/2 inches).

Makes about 24.
