CHOCOLATE CAKE OR BROWNIE MIX 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 stick of butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix butter, water, cocoa and shortening together and bring to a boil. Pour over dry mix (flour and sugar) and mix very good. Add 2 beaten eggs and buttermilk with 1 teaspoon baking soda added to it. Mix very good and pour in greased 9x13x2 pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Let cool and then frost. Very good!

FROSTING:

1 box powdered sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter

Boil butter, cocoa and milk and pour over powdered sugar. Add vanilla and nuts and put on cake.
